About Domain Residences

Domain Resorts was established in 2005 as a specialist resort and apartment operator, with a focus on growth markets in Queensland and New South Wales. Domain provides superior Australian holiday accommodation in beachside apartments, luxury resorts, beach houses and villas. The Group currently manages in excess of 1000 rooms across three sites in Sydney, Casuarina Beach and Stradbroke Island. A further major site in Townsville is under development.

Queensland developer and founder of Domain Don O'Rorke, saw the opportunity to establish a high quality, streamlined and scaled operation in the management and letting rights market. Domain has rapidly emerged as an operator with a strong reputation for quality of product and service.

Consolidated Properties developed both the $1.5 billion Casuarina Beach township in northern New South Wales and the $35 million Domain Stradbroke Resort on North Stradbroke Island. Domain holds options to acquire the management and letting rights for a number of new resort and holiday apartment complexes to be developed by some of Australia's leading property groups. These additional properties, spanning the Tweed Coast to Townsville, are expected to add in excess of 1,000 more rooms to the Domain portfolio over the next three years.

Operating Scale

By 2009 Casuarina Beach will incorporate seven different product offerings across the 183 hectare site, serviced from a central site office.

Domain has primarily focused on acquiring the rights to "super sites" this being regions of over 500 available apartments. This strategy enables economies of scale in administration and marketing costs while maintaining a high quality in customer service and product delivery and styling.

The company uses state of the art management systems to enhance operating efficiencies throughout a centralised head office and the individual properties.
